​Scale Crochet Stitch # 2

The quantity of sts is multiple of 12 + 6.

Base: make 3 double crochets in 1 st, make 2 chain sts between the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd double crochets.

Scale: 1 double crochet in the the double crochet of base, 3 double crochets in the arch of 2 chain sts of base, 1 double crochet in the next base crochet, 3 double crochets in the arch of 2 chain sts of the base, 1 double crochet in the next base crochet, 3 double crochets in the arch of 2 chain sts of the base, 1 double crochet in the base crochet.

1^st row (red yarn): 1 double crochet in the 6^th st from the crochet hook, 2 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the same st, * skip 3 chain sts, 5 single crochets, skip 3 chain sts, make base*, skip 3 chain sts, 5 single crochets, skip 3 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the selvedge st of the previous row, 2 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the same st;

2^nd row (red yarn): 2 chain sts increase, 3 double crochets in the arch of chain sts of the lower row, 1 double crochet in the double crochet of the lower row, * 3 single crochets in the sts of 3 central single crochets out of 5 single crochets of the lower row, make scale*, 3 single crochets in the 3 central single crochets out of 5 of the lower row, 1 double crochet in the double crochet of the lower row, 3 double crochets in the arch of 2 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the double crochet of the lower row;

3^rd row (white yarn): 1 chain st increase, 3 single crochets, * make base in the central single crochet out of 3 single crochets of the previous row, 5 single crochets in the central 5 crochets of scale*, make base in the central single crochet out of 3 single crochets of the previous row, 3 single crochets in the sts of 3 edging sts of the lower row;

4^th row (white yarn): 1 chain st increase, 2 single crochets, *make scale, 3 single crochets in the sts of the 3 central single crochets out of 5 of the lower row*, make scale, 2 single crochets;

5^th row (white yarn): 5 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the last st of the previous row, * 5 single crochets in the sts of the central 5 crochets of scale, make base in the central single crochet out of 3 of the lower row*, 5 single crochets in the sts of the central 5 crochets of the scale, 1 double crochet in the st of the last single crochet of the lower row, 2 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the same st.
