Knit Relief Rhombs Wrap
You’ll need:
150 (150) 200g of white 100% cotton yarn;
2 bobbins of Glitter threads of golden color;
Circle knitting needles 3,5 (80 cm long);
5 buttons.
Size: S/M(L/XL)XXL.
Length: 44 cm
Bottom width: 130(152)174 cm.
Used Patterns
Garter stitch: all knit sts;
Relief pattern: due to the schemes M1 and M2;
Button-holes are made on the right front – knit 3rd and 4th sts from the middle together, 1 yarn over above the obtained st. Interval between button-holes – 5 cm.
Stitches control: main pattern: 22 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
This wrap is made with straight and reversed rows with circle knitting needles.
Cast on 333 (389) 445 sts with 2 threads of yarn – main yarn and Glitter. Make 1 row of knit sts on the wrong side. In the next row: 5 sts of garter stitch (placket), * 6 knit sts, slip 1 st as knit st, knit2tog, draw it through the slipped st, 5 knit sts*; repeat from * to * to last 5 sts, 5 sts of garter stitch. You should get 287(335) 383 sts. Make 1 row of purls on the wrong-side. In the next row: 5 sts of garter stitch, 12 sts due to the scheme M1 A, 252 (300) 348 sts due to the scheme M1 B, 13 sts due to the scheme M1 C, 5 sts of garter stitch. Make 1 pattern repeat M1 in height plus 1 pattern repeat to the row, marked with arrow on the scheme. You should get 35 cm height. Continue making decreases due to the scheme M2: 5 sts of garter stitch, scheme M2, until there are 6 sts left. Include the first st in the pattern of the first 10 rows, then – stockinette stitch, finish with 5 sts of garter stitch. Continue work due to the scheme M2. As a result, there are 126 (146) 166 sts at 43 cm length. Make 6 rowsofgarterstitchonallthests.
Bind off the sts. Sew the buttons.
