​Stylish Triangle Leather Bag

You’ll need:

Leather;

Zipper 18 cm;

Threads;

Glue for leather;

Scissors;

Measuring rule;

Patchwork ruler;

Clasps for fabric;

Pencil;

Chain with links 50 cm long;

Template.

Instructions

Transfer the template to the skin and cut it three times with allowances for seams 1 cm. Cut out a loop measuring 8 x 1.8 cm. Turn the longitudinal sections of the loop on the wrong side and fix with glue for the skin. Stitch edges to edge.

Cut the allowances for the zipper, unscrew it on the wrong side and stick it on.

Fasten the zipper with clamps and grind.

Tip

So that the skin moves better while attaching the zipper, a scale ruler can be placed under the foot of the sewing machine.

Pin the loop and press it to the upper corner of the purse.

Stitch the lower short sections of the zipper, glue the seam allowances with glue for the skin. Make side seams and stitch the bottom. Pass the chain through the loop and secure.

Notes

1. For the lining, use the same pattern as for the handbag. To sew the lining, put it in the bag on the wrong side to the wrong side and sew it manually on the braid of the zipper.

2. The handle chain is easy to replace with leather tape or cord.

3. Instead of leather, you can also use neoprene or coated cotton.
