Hand-Made Short Zipper
You'll need:
Ordinary zipper;
Tailoring scissors;
Pieces of cotton fabric;
Measuring tape or ruler;
Safety pins;
Needle;
Threads.
Instructions
Mark the required length on the zipper, taking into account allowances of 1 cm.
Cut the tape of lightning according to the marking.
Tack at the top of the zipper manually.
From the pieces of cotton fabric, cut out two stitches 4 cm long and 1 cm wider than the width of the zipper.
Fold the hem in half and iron. Then spread out and unscrew the sections of the edges to the midline. Fold the hem again and iron.
Insert open sections of the zipper into the tacks.
Pin it up.
Stitch the tacks to the edges of the zipper.
Cut the protruding ends of the grind.
