Instructions
Left Eye Pattern
Rnd 1: Ch 22, sl st to join.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 32 sc in ch 22 loop, sl st to join (32 sc).
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same st, sc in next 7 sts, *ch3 p, sc in next 2 sts, repeat from * twice, ch5 p, sc in next 2 sts, ch6 p, sc in next st, (sc, ch 6, sc) all in next st, sc in next st, *ch 3 p, sc in next 2 sts, ch 3 p, sc in remaining 11 sts, ch 3, sl st to beginning sc. Finish off, weave in ends.
Right Eye Pattern
Rnd 1: Ch 22, sl st to join.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 32 sc in ch 22 loop, sl st to join (32 sc).

Next, join the two eye pieces.
Join a new piece of thread in ch 3 corner of left eye piece. Chain 8 and sl st to ch 3 corner of right eye piece. Chain 1 and sl st in same ch 3 corner. Start off by covering the satin mask with plastic wrap. Cover your DIY masquerade mask with fabric stiffener, and squeeze out the excess.
Place the crocheted mask onto the plastic covered mask, and stretch it out to the desired shape. Leave on the mask until completely dry and then carefully peel off. It will now hold the mask shape!
Cut two lengths of ribbon and loop end through one of the spaces on each side of the DIY masquerade mask. Secure with a drop of hot glue.
