​Sea Foam Knit Stitch

In order to make this pattern, cast on the quantity of sts multipled 6 + 1 st for the ornament symmetry + 2 selvedge sts. Knit the pattern in the following way:

Row 3 and 7: treble knit sts.

Row 4: * 1 purl, 5 sts from 5 sts*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 purl.

For making treble knit st you should insert right-hand needle in the st, as if to make knit st, after that make 3 yarn overs. Then pull the needle on yourself, rotating clockwise. In order to make 5 sts of 5 sts, you shpuld slip 5 sts from left-hand needle, which have yarn overs, slip and unstring them at the same time. Then catch 5 sts together, knit them 5 times, rotating front and back loops.
