Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton: Blue – 1 oz, 50 yd (30 g, 46 m); White – ½ oz, 25 yd (15 g, 23 m); Green – ½ oz, 25 yd (15 g, 23 m)(Sugar ‘n Cream)

Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)

JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

Special Stitches

Front Post Treble: (FPtr): Yo hook twice, insert hook from front to back to front around the post of indicated st, yo hook, pull up lp, [yo hook, pull through 2 lps] 3 times.

Unless noted otherwise, always skip the st behind the FPtr.

DISHCLOTH

Row 1: (Right Side) With White, ch 26, sc in 2nd ch from hook, [sc in next ch] across. (25 sc) Finish off and weave in ends.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), turn, [dc in next sc] across, change color to Blue, drop White. (25 dc)

Row 3: With Blue, ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, [skip 3 sc on 2 rows down, 3 FPtr around next sc 2 rows down, skip 3 dc on current row, sc in next dc on current row, 3 FPtr around same sc 2 rows down, skip next 3 dc on current row, sc in next dc on current row] across. Finish off Blue and weave in ends.

Row 4: With right side facing, pick up dropped White through first sc, ch 3, [dc in next st] across. Drop White.

Row 5: With right side facing, join Green with sc in first dc; [skip 3 sc on 2 rows down, 3 FPtr around next sc 2 rows down, skip 3 dc on current row, sc in next dc on current row, 3 FPtr around same sc 2 rows down, skip next 3 dc on current row, sc in next dc on current row] across. Finish off Green and weave in ends.

Row 6: Pick up dropped White, ch 3, turn, [dc in next st] across, change to Blue, drop White.

Rows 7-18: Rep Rows 3-6 three times.

Row 19: With Blue, rep Row 3. DO NOT FINISH OFF.

Edging

Rnd 1: Ch 1, DO NOT TURN, (right side facing), 3 sc in last sc worked, * working in sides of rows, evenly sc across *, working in unused lps of starting ch, 3 sc in first ch, [sc in next ch] across to last ch, 3 sc in last ch; rep from * to *, working in Row 19, 3 sc in first sc, [sc in each st] across; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.
