Ch 3, 11 dc in 3rd ch from hook, ss in ch 3 of beg ch 3 to join.
Round 5:

Ch 3, sc in next st, *ch 3, sc in next st.* Repeat from * to * around, ss to join. Fasten off.

Bottom:
Using Black
Round 1:
Join yarn between sts from first round of cup, ch 2, 30 dc all the way around the base(between stitches). Ss in ch 3 of beg ch 3 to join.
Round 2:
*Sk next 2 sts, 5 dc in next st, sk next 2 sts, ss in next st*. Repeat from * to * around.
