The Begdc can be replaced with 3 chains.
SPECIAL TECHNIQUES:
Changing Colors: To change color in last st of Row, complete last st until 2 lps left on hk, drop current color, pick up new color, yo and draw through both lps.

BORDER
Rnd. 1: Continuing with A – Ch 1, (sc ,hdc, sc) in first st, sc in next 26 sts,
(sc, hdc, sc) in last st of row.
Rotate cloth to work on vertical side, work 26 sc evenly across this side.
Rotate cloth to work on bottom of Row 1, (sc, hdc, sc) in first st, sc in next
26 sts, (sc, hdc, sc) in last st.
Rotate cloth to work on vertical side, work 26 sc evenly across this side, join
with sl st to beg sc.
Rnd. 2: Ch 1 (does not count as a st), hdc in same st, work 3 hdc in each corner hdc and 1 hdc in each sc around, join with sl st to beg hdc. Finish off. Weave in all ends.
