2mm crochet hook

If you make toys for children, be careful with the safety eyes. I recommend you embroider the eyes.

HEAD

Use Beige Yarn

Row 5: (3sc, 1inc) * 8 (40)

Row 6 – Row 7: 40 sc (40)

Row 8: (1sc, 1inc, 3sc) * 8 (48)

Row 9 – Row 12: 48 sc (48)

Row 13: 12 sc, (3sc, 1inc) * 6, 12sc (54)

Row 14 – Row 17: 54 sc (54)

Row 20: (2sc, 1dec, 2sc) * 8 (40)

Cut the thread leaving enough length for sewing. FO. Place the safety eyes between rounds 12 and13 at about 10 sts apart.

Use white yarn to decorate the eye.

Use brown yarn to embroider the eyebrow.

Apply pink Blush to the face.

MUZZLE

Use the white yarn

Row 1: 6sc in MR (6)

Row 2: 6inc (12)

Row 3: (1sc, 1inc) * 6 (18)

Row 4 – Row 5 : 18sc (18)

Cut and leave a long tail for sewing. FO. Stuff it. Sew the muzzle to the head between the R11 and R18.

NOSE

Use red yarn

Row 1: 6sc in MR (6)

Cut and leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the nose to the muzzle.

SMALL HORN (Make 2)

Use white yarn

Row 1: 4sc in MR (4)

Row 2- Row 3 : 4sc (4)

Cut and leave a long tail for sewing.

BIG HORN (Make 2)

Use white yarn

Row 1: 6sc in MR (6)

Row 2 – Row 5 : 6sc (6)

Cut and leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the small horn to the big horn. Sew the horn to the head on R4 and R5.

EAR (Make 2)

Use brown yarn

Row 1: 6sc in MR (6)

Row 2: 6sc (6)

Row 3: (1sc, 1inc) * 3 (9)

Row 4: (2sc, 1inc) * 3 (12)

Row 5: (3sc, 1inc) * 3 (15)

Cut and leave a long tail for sewing. FO. Sew the ear to the head.

LEG (Make 2)

Right leg

Use black yarn

Fasten off. Leaving a long tail.

(Use black yarn insert 1 sc in the row 8: FLO, 12sc)

Left leg

Use black yarn

Row 1: 6sc in MR (6)

Row 5: 7sc, 1dec, (2sc, 1dec) *2, 7sc (21)

Change to white yarn

Row 8: BLO, 8sc, 3inc, 1sc (15)

Change to red yarn

Don’t cut the yarn, continue working.

(Use black yarn insert 1 sc in the row 8: FLO, 12sc)

BODY

Put the right leg near to the left leg and go ahead with these steps:

Row 1: sc in the following 10 sts of the left leg, chain 2 and join with the right leg, sc in the 5th st of the right leg, sc in the following 14 sts of the right leg, 2 sc in 2ch, 5sc of the left leg, place a stitch marker in the last sts [34]

Row 2: 1sc, 2inc, 7sc, 2inc, 7sc, 2inc, 6sc, 2inc, 5sc (42)

Row 3 – Row 7: 42sc (42)

Row 8: (5sc, 1dec) * 6 (36)

Change to black yarn

Row 9 – Row 10 : 36sc (36)

Change to red yarn

Row 11 – Row 12: 36sc (36)

Row 13: (2sc, 1dec, 2sc) * 6 (30)

Row 14 – Row 16: 30 sc (30)

Row 17: (3sc, 1dec) * 6 (24)

Cut the yarn. FO. Stuff well with fiber fill. Sew the body to the head. Use the yellow yarn to embroider the buckle.

ARM (Make 2)

Use beige yarn

Row 1: MR 6sc (6)

Row 2: (1sc, 1inc) * 3 (9)

Row 3 – Row 4: 9sc (9)

Change to white yarn

Row 5: 9sc (9)

Change to red yarn

Row 6- Row 11: 9sc (9)

Stuff the arms. Cut and secure the thread leaving enough to sew on the arms between rounds 16 and 17 of the body.

BOW

Use green yarn

Row 1: Chain 3, 2 DC in the first st of the chain, chain 2, slst in the first st of the chain. Chain 2, 2DC in the first st of the chain, chain 2, slst in the first st of the chain.

Fasten off and leave long end for sewing. Wrap the middle of the bow with the tail yarn a couple of times. Sew the bow to the body.

HAIR CLIP

LEAF (Make 2)

Use green yarn

Row 1: Chain 4, start from second st from the hook, 1slst, 1sc, 3sc in same st, 1sc, 1slst, joint with the first st by 1 slst.

Cut and leave a long tail for sewing. FO.

RED CHERRY

Use red yarn

Row 1: 5sc in MR (5)

Row 2 – Row 3: 5sc (5)

Cut and leave a long tail for sewing. FO. Sew the cherry to the leaf. Sew them to the head of the reindeer.
