​Volcano Shades Crochet Jacket

You’ll need:

550g of burgundy 100% merino wool yarn;

250g of the same yarn, but in orange color;

Crochet hook 4,5;

4 buttons.

Size: M-L.

Stitches control: 17 sts = 10 cm.

Instructions

Back and Front

Make as one-piece cloth. Make 151 chain sts with burgundy yarn and work with pattern due to the scheme 1, alternating the color of yarn. At 40 cm height, mark 28 sts for each half of front with contrast yarn, 11 sts for each arm-hole and 73 sts of back. Continue work on 28 sts of right front, make arm-hole and at 6 cm height, make neck-hole due to the scheme 2. At 62 cm height, after getting 13 sts of shoulder, finish your work. Make left front in symmetry to the right front. Turn to 73 st sof back. At 62 cm height, after getting 13 sts for each shoulder and 47 sts for neck-hole, finish your work.

Sleeves

Make 49 chain sts with burgundy yarn and work due to the scheme 1, alternate the colors of yarn and increase 6 x 1 st in every 4^th row from both sides = 61 sts. At 41 cm height, make sleeve cap due to the scheme 3 and finish your work. Total height is 52 cm.

Assembly

Fasten the lower edge of sleeves with 5 cm of fringe due to the scheme 4. Make seams and sew up the sleeves in the arm-holes. Fasten the edges of front with 10 cm of fringe due to the scheme 5. At the same time, make 2 button-loops on the placket of right front. Fasten neck-hole, including edges of plackets’ fasteners. Fasten neck-hole with 7 cm of fringe due to the scheme 4. Sew buttons.
