Instructions

Back

For placket, make 109 (127) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and make 14 rows of flower pattern due to the stripes order, increase 1 double crochet in the last row = 110 (128) sts. Then, work with the main pattern with green yarn, decrease 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row from both sides for better fitting, then, increase 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 110 (128) sts. In 13,5 cm = 12 rows (15,5 cm = 14 rows) from the placket, leave 3 sts from both sides for arm-holes and bind off 2 x 2 sts, 1 x 1 st in every row. In 33,5 cm = 30 rows (38 cm = 34 rows) from the placket, finish your work.

Left Front

For placket, make 55 (64) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with mélange yarn and work with flower pattern due to the stripes order, increase 1 double crochet in the last row = 56 (65) sts. Then, work with the main pattern with green yarn. Make better fitting and arm-hole from the right side in the same way, as for back = 48 (57) sts. In 13,5 cm = 12 rows (18 cm = 16 rows) from placket, leave 17 x 1 st in every row from left side = 31 (40) sts. Finish your work at the height of back.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Make 64 (73) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with flower pattern with mélange yarn due to the stripes order. For sleeve chamfers, increase 9 sts in the 6th and 10th rows. In 17 cm from the set-up row, leave 1 x 1 cm and 1 x 2 cm in every row from both sides. In 20 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams; sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Fasten the edges of front and neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets with blue, white and mélange yarn. Then, make 1 single crochet and 4 chain sts in every 3rd st with mélange yarn. Sew buttons.

Beautiful pattern but sizes up to 2X need to be included. I'm hoping that adding 18 stitches to the pattern will give me an XL.
