Crochet Sweet Cream Scarf

Materials:
J (6.0 mm) crochet hook
364 yards of medium/#4 weight yarn (I used 1 ball of Super Saver by Red Heart in “Aran”)
Yarn/tapestry needle
Scissors
Measuring Tape
Sizing:
8.5 inches wide
74 inches long
Pattern Notes:
Easily change the scarf width by adjusting the multiple of the starting chain (see below for multiple)
Change the length of the scarf by working more rows.
Sweet Cream Crochet Scarf Pattern:
Ch 40 (to change the width, work in any multiple of 6+4)
Row 1: In the 6th ch from the hook, work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc). *Skip 5 chains, then in the chain after that work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc). Repeat from * across until 4 chains remain. Skip 3 chains and in the very last chain, work a dc.
Row 2: Ch 3 and turn. In each ch 3 space (center of each fan) and work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc). To finish the row, work a dc into the turning chain space at the end of the row.
Repeat row 2 until the scarf is 74 inches long or desired length.
Weave in any ends that remain and it’s ready to wear!
