SUPPLIES
- Crochet hook G/4.00mm
- Tapestry needle (I use Clover Chibi Bent Tip Needle Set)
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Safety eyes 6mm
- Any worsted weight yarn, I used the following:
- Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice, Pink
- Lily Sugar ‘n Cream, Red
NOTES
- Pink Sweet Heart measures approx. 3.5″ in height.
- Red Sweet Heart measures approx. 4.25″ in height.
- Pattern is worked from the bottom to top.
- Do not join or turn at the end of rounds unless instructed.
- Gauge is not essential – just keep your tension consistent throughout.

PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS
Start with a magic ring.
Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Round 2: 2 sc in each st around (12)
Round 3: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st*, rep * – * around (18)
Round 4: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 8 sts*, rep * – * around (20)
Round 5: sc in each st around (20)
Round 6: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 9 sts*, rep * – * around (22)
Rounds 7-8: sc in each st around (22)
Round 9: *sc2tog, 1 sc in next 9 sts*, rep * – * around (20)
Round 10: sc in each st around (20)
Round 11: *sc2tog, 1 sc in next 8 sts*, rep * – * around (18)
Round 12: *sc2tog, 1 sc in next st*, rep * – * around (12)
Place safety eyes and stuff as you move along.
Round 13: sc2tog around (6)
Without fastening off, continue to next round to form the heart. If you’d like the heart to be a different color, this is the time to change your yarn.
Round 14: sc in each st around (6)
Round 15: 2 sc in each st around (12)
Round 16: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st*, rep * – * around (18)
Round 17: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 8 sts*, rep * – * around (20)
Round 18: 1 sc in next 5 sts, ch 1, count 10 sts backwards, sl st on the 10th st (this forms one side of the heart). Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in next 10 sts. Sl st in first sc to join.
Round 19: 1 sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 4 sts, sl st in first sc to join (8)
Round 20: sc2tog around, sl st in next st, fasten off and stuff (4)
One side of the heart completed!
Continuing on the other side…
Round 1: Insert your hook in the next st (see photo below), 1 sc in next 10 sts, sl st in next 2 sts, then sl st to first sc to join (10)
Round 2: repeat round 19
Round 3: repeat round 20
Sl st to close up the heart. Fasten off and weave in ends.
