Pattern

Body:
The body is worked in rows and sewn together once finished.

Ch 13
Row 1: sc in second ch from hook and in each st across. Ch1, turn.
Row 2-3: sc in each st across, ch1, turn.
Row 4: sc in first two sts, *skip 2 sts, crocodile st in next st** repeat from * to ** once. Skip 2 sts and sc in last two sts in row, ch1, turn.
Row 5: sc in first two sts, hdc in next 8 sts, sc in last two sts.
Row 6: sc in first st, *skip 2 sts, crocodile st in next st** repeat from * to ** twice. Skip 1 st and sc in last st in row. Ch1 and turn.
Row 7: sc in first two sts, hdc in next 8 sts, sc in last two sts.

Repeat rows 4-7
Slip stitch along edges to join and form a “circle”.
Sew along top edge to form flat head.

Eyes:Make 2.
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in second chain from hook, sl st in first sc to form circle.Rnd 2: Ch1, 2 sc in each st around, join with sl st (12 st total). Fasten off.

Right eye lash: Join brown yarn with sl st and chain 2. Sl st in 2nd chain from hook and sl st to same st as joining. Sl stitch in next 5 sts, fasten off.

Left eye lash: Join brown yarn with sl st and sl st in next 5 sts. Ch2, sl st in 2nd chain from hook, join with sl st to same st as last sl st.

To form pupils, cut a small piece of black yarn and tie knots in it to form a small ball. Pull through center of eye and secure.

Wings:
Row 1: ch7, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sl st. Fasten off.
