​Owl Crochet Hat

You’ll need:

Different colors of yarn (purple, orange, white, black, red);

Crochet hook;

Needle;

Scissors.

Size: 3-6 months.

Instructions

Make 12 double crochets in a ring with purple yarn.

Increase the quantity of sts to 24 in the 2nd row by means of increase. In 3rd-4th rows, make increase in 1 crochet, in the 5th row – in every 3 crochets.

Make 9-10 rows without increases and your hat will be ready.

Ears

Make 6 single crochets in a ring with purple yarn.

Increase 3 crochets in the 2nd row.

3rd row – without changes.

4th-6th rows – add 3 crochets.

7th row: add 2 single crochets.

8th-10th – without changes.

Make tassels for the ears. Draw the several threads of yarn through the upper loop of ear, tighten and even with scissors.

Eyes

Make 12 double crochets in a ring with white yarn.

2nd row: increase the quantity of sts twice;

3rd row: knit2tog in every 2nd st.

Pupil

Make 12 double crochets in a ring with black yarn.

Beak

Make beak with orange yarn. Make 6 crochets in the slip st, increase 3 crochets in the next 3 rows.

Hat for Owl

Make 30 chain sts with red yarn and circle in the ring. Make 2 rows with double crochets and change the yarn to orange. Decrease 6 crochets on the next 2 rows and turn to red yarn, then, finish your work.

Assembly

Sew eyes. Sew ears to the hat and owl hat between them.
