This cute little doll is approximately 2” tall and made with 3-ply crochet cotton thread and size 8 hook. The pattern is worked in continuous rounds and uses US terms. It also requires minimal sewing.

We’re gonna start off with the body.

With color A, form magic cirlcle.

Round 1 6 sc into the ring (6)

Round 2 inc in each st (12)

Round 3 [sc in 1^st st, inc in next] 6x (18)

Round 4 [sc in 1^st 2 st, inc in next] 6x (24)

Round 5 [sc in 1^st 3 st, inc in next] 6x (30)

Round 6-10 sc in each st (30)

Round 11 [sc in 1^st 3 st, dec in next] 6x (24)

Round 12 sc around (24)

Round 13 [sc in 1^st 2 st, dec in next] 6x (18)

Round 14 sc around (18)

Round 15 [sc in 1^st st, dec in next] 6x (12)

Stuff body firmly with polyfill.

Fasten off and change to color B (skin). We will continue working on the head.

Stuff head firmly with fiberfill. Fasten off and sew top of the head to close.

With black thread, sew several strands across the doll's forehead. This will be the doll's hair. Then find the center and sew the strands together. Fasten off and weave in ends. Embroider the doll's eyes and mouth using black thread. You can also use beads for the eyes.

For the doll's shawl, use color C. Hold the doll upside down and attach thread onto the first round of the doll's head. This round is worked on the front loops only.

Round 3 ch 1, turn, inc in 1^st st, sc in next 10 st, inc in last (14)

Round 4 ch 1, turn, inc in 1^st st, sc in next 12 st, inc in last (16)

Round 6 ch 1, turn, inc in 1^st st, sc in next 14 st, inc in last (18)

Round 7 ch 1, turn, sc in each st (18)

Fasten off and weave in ends.

For the doll's hood use the same color as the doll's shawl. Form magic circle.

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Stretch the hood a bit and fit it diagonally onto the doll's head with the hair sticking out. Sew hood around the doll's head.
