– Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in color Blue, Cherry Red, or any other color you want to make your mug!
– A long strand of Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in white to stitch on the snowflake.
– Size H Crochet Hook
– Tapestry Needle
Finished Size: Approximately 3 inches tall x 4 inches wide
CROCHET MINI MUG BASKET PATTERN:
Magic Ring, chain 1 and make 10 SC in ring, join to first SC, chain1
Round 2: 2 SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (20 SC)
Round 3: 2 SC in first stitch, SC in next, repeat around, join, chain 1 (30 SC)
Round 4: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (30 SC)
Round 5: 2 SC in first stitch, SC in next two, repeat around, join, chain 1 (40 SC)
Round 6: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (40 SC)
Round 7: working in back loops only, SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (40 SC)
Round 8-17: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (40 SC)
Round 18:working in front loops only, DC in each stitch around, join, (40 DC)
Flip DC’s downward so it becomes a rim for the mug.
Do not fasten off, now let’s make the handle:
Chain 14, join to bottom edge of mug with a slip stitch, turn and SC back up the chain and join to the DC rim, do not fasten off.
Slip stitch the bottom of the DC rim to the mug. You should be working your slip stitches through the edge of the DC stitches and into the mug between rounds 16 and 17.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
