​Relief Light-Grey Jacket

You’ll need:

300g of light-grey Bandola yarn (78% cotton, 22% polyamide; 150m/50g);

Crochet hook 5.

Used Patterns

Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 12 + 3 chain sts increase. Work due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat and finish with sts after pattern repeat. For lower part, make 1^st-8^th rows x once, then, repeat 1^st-6^th rows x twice. For upper part, repeat 1^st-8^th rows.

Pattern for plackets: the quantity of sts is multiple 5. Start every circle row with 1, 2 or 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st single crochet, 1^st half-crochet of 1^st double crochet and finish with 1 slip st in chain st increase.

1^st row: half crochets;

2^nd-4^th rows: double crochets;

5^th row: 1 single crochet, * 4 chain sts, skip 4 sts of the previous row, 1 single crochet*; repeat from * to *;

6^throw: singlecrochets.

Make 1^st-6^throwsxonce.

Stitches control: double crochets: 15 sts x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Relief pattern: 15 sts x 9,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 120 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase for the central cable and work with double crochets. Start every row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st double crochet. In 11 cm = 12 rows from the set-up row, make upper part with relief pattern. In 8,5 cm = 8 rows from stripe, divide your work into 3 parts; back – central 5 pattern repeats, left front – last 2 pattern repeats and sts after pattern repeat, right front – sts before pattern repeat and the first 2 pattern repeats. At first, make right front. For neck-hole chamfer, make decreases due to the pattern design. In 26,5 cm = 25 rows from the stripe, finish your work. Make left front in symmetry to the right. Then, make back on the central 5 pattern repeats, finish it at the height of front. For lower part, work with relief pattern on the opposite side of the central cable. Work with straight and reversed rows of pattern for plackets along front and neck-hole, making 186 half-crochets in the 1^st row. In 5 cm = 6 rows from the beginning of placket, finish your work. Work with circle rows with pattern for plackets along arm-holes, make 55 half-crochets in the 1^st row. Make 2 rows of double crochets after the 1^st row, then, make the 5^th and 6^th rows. In 4 cm = 5 rows from the beginning of placket, finish your work. For each strap, join the yarn to front and make chains of 21 cm long, make bead in the end of each strap.
