Basic Crochet Baby Shorts

You'll need:

Blue yarn of middle weigh;

Crochet hook 2.

Back

Make 26 chain sts for both shorts legs and make 2 rows with single crochets. Continue work with alternation of 1 row of double crochets and 1 row of single crochets, making increases from the inner side every 2 rows - 2 x 1 st = 28 sts.

At 4 cm height, connect the sts of both shorts legs, cast on 5 sts between them, there are 61 sts in work. Continue work in the same way.

After 18 cm, make a row of holes for the cord: 1 double crochet, * 1 chain st, skip 1 st of the previous row, 1 double crochet*; repeat from * to * to end of row, then make 3 rows with single crochets. Finish work at 24 cm height.

Front

Make in the same way, as back.

Assembly

Make seams. Insert the cord in the holes in upper part of your shorts and fsten the ends with knots.
