You will need:
- 100 g each of yellow, pink, white, and red yarn (50% cotton, 50% polyester, 90 m/50 g).
- Crochet hook No. 7.
Main pattern: stitch count is a multiple of 4 + 1. Follow the chart. Start with the stitches before the repeat, repeat the pattern, finish with stitches after the repeat. Work once from the 1st to the 6th row, then repeat from the 2nd to the 6th row, with every other pattern repeat in height, RS rows become WS rows and vice versa.
Stripe sequence: 6 (7) 8 rows of yellow, pink, white, and yellow yarn, 6 (7) 8 rows of red yarn.
Main pattern in stripe sequence: as the main pattern, but for size 36/38, repeat from the 1st to the 6th row. For size 40/42, in each color stripe after the 1st row, add one more row of dc = 7 rows for each color. For size 44/46, in each color stripe after the 1st row and after the 6th row of the chart, add one more row of dc = 8 rows for each color.
Gauge, main pattern: 16.5 sts and 6.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions:
Back: With yellow yarn, chain 73 (81) 89 + 3 turning chains and crochet in the main pattern following the stripe sequence. After 27.5 cm = 18 rows (32.5 cm = 21 rows) 38.5 cm = 25 rows from the beginning, skip for armholes on both sides 1 x 2 sts and in every row 2 x 1 st, continue on the remaining 65 (73) 81 sts. After 18.5 cm = 12 rows (20 cm = 13 rows - finish the last red stripe after 6 rows) 21.5 cm = 14 rows - finish the last red stripe after 7 rows - from the beginning of the armhole shaping, finish the work.
Left Front: With yellow yarn, chain 37 (41) 45 + 3 turning chains and crochet in the main pattern following the stripe sequence as for the back. Shape the armhole on the right as for the back = 33 (37) 41 sts. After 4.5 cm = 3 rows (6 cm = 4 rows) 7.5 cm = 5 rows from the beginning of the armhole shaping, skip for the neckline rounding on the left 1 x 14 sts and in every row 2 x 2 and 2 x 1 st. On the remaining 13 (17) 21 shoulder sts, finish the work at the back height.
Right Front: Crochet symmetrically.
Sleeves: With yellow yarn, chain 41 (45) 49 + 3 turning chains and crochet in the main pattern. After 9 cm = 6 rows from the beginning, skip for the sleeve cap on both sides 1 x 3 sts and in every row 3 x 2 and 4 x 1 st. On the remaining 15 (19) 23 sts, finish the work after 12.5 cm = 8 rows from the beginning of the sleeve cap shaping.
Assembly: Sew shoulder and side seams. With yellow yarn, edge the neckline and front edges with 1 row of sc, making 3 sc in 1 base stitch at the corners. Additionally, edge the neckline with 1 lace row by alternating 2 dc and skipping 2 sts, making 2 ch.
For the tie, with red yarn, make a 150 cm long chain, alternating 1 sc and skipping 1 st, making 1 ch. Weave the tie into the lace row of the neckline.
