Crochet Hook: 4.5mm
Yarn: Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton

Extras: Scissors, large yarn needle for weaving in ends
Gauge:
2” x 2” (5cm x 5cm) = 10 sts x 10 rows worked over alternating SL ST and HDC

This pattern uses the Even Moss Stitch which is created by simply alternating SL ST and HDC

Pattern:
CH 26
ROW 1: Work all of your STS into the back bumps of the chain for a neater edge. SL ST into the 2nd CH from the hook, *HDC into the next CH, SL ST into the next CH* repeat from * to * across. (25)
ROW 2: CH 1, turn. HDC into the 1st ST, *SL ST into the next ST, HDC into the next ST* repeat from * to * across. (25)
ROW 3: CH 1, turn. SL ST into the 1st ST, *HDC into the next ST, SL ST into the next ST* repeat from * to * across. (25)
Repeat rows 2 & 3 until your coaster measures approximately 4″ tall, or your desired height!
Note: I crocheted 20 rows total to reach 4″
FO & weave in your ends. You’re all done!
