Used Patterns
Main pattern: due to the scheme 1, in WS rows due to the pattern, yarn overs as purls;
Zigzag pattern: due to the scheme 2, in WS rows due to the pattern.
Stitches control: main pattern: 10 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Zigzag pattern: 26 sts x 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back and Front
Cast on 106 sts with knitting needles 7 and red yarn and work with the main pattern. In 28 cm from the beginning, divide your work in half (53 sts + 53 sts) and finish both sides separately. At first, make front. For arm-holes, bind off 10 x 1 st in every 2nd row from both sides = 33 sts. At the same time, in 3 cm from the beginning of arm-hole, bind off the central 7 sts and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 2 x 3 sts, 3 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row. In 48 cm from the beginning of work, bind off all the sts. Then, make back. For arm-hole, bind off 10 x 1 st in every 2nd and 4th rows from both sides = 33 sts. At the same time, in 18 cm from the beginning of arm-hole, bind off the central 27 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards for smooth rounding. In 48 cm from the beginning of work, bind off the sts.
Neck-Hole Placket
Cast on 13 sts with auxiliary needle with knitting needles 7 and work with zigzags pattern. In 96 cm from the beginning of work, take off the auxiliary yarn and connect the sts with kitchener’s stitch.
Lower Placket
Cast on 13 sts with auxiliary needle with knitting needles 7 and work with zigzags pattern. In 84 cm from the beginning of work, take off the auxiliary yarn and connect the sts with kitchener’s stitch.
Assembly
Sew plackets to front and back. Fasten arm-holes with crochet hook 5 and red yarn and 1 row of single crochets.
