Rnd 4: Ch 2, hdc in same st, hdc in ea of next 2 hdc, *2 hdc in next hdc, 1 hdc in ea of next 2 hdc, rep from * around, join with sl st (44 hdc)

Rnd 20: Sl st in BLO of ea st around, join with sl st. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Drawstring tie: Ch 135, fasten off. Weave ch through last rnd before brim increases. Slide 3 wood pony beads on each end of ch and tie ends of ch securely in knots.
To use as a hat: Adjust chain and tie ends in a square knot, letting beaded ends dangle on the side as shown in photo.
To use as a bag: If desired, insert fabric lining or small plastic tub inside bag. Pull both ends of drawstring and tie in a bow as shown in photo, or use chain ends as a handle.
