Crochet Mountain Ridges Textured Afghan Square Dishcloth

The Crochet Mountain Ridges Textured Afghan Square Dishcloth is a unique and functional item that combines the warmth of a cozy blanket with the practicality of a dishcloth. The textured, ridge-like design gives the square a rugged, mountainous appearance, while the soft, absorbent yarn makes it perfect for wiping up spills and cleaning dishes.

Finished Size: 12” square

Materials Used: Hobby Lobby “I Love This Yarn!”

  • 3 oz. – #4 worsted weight yarn
  • Size “I” crochet hook

Pattern Notes: If you would like to change the size of your project, increase/decrease 12 stitches at a time. So, your beginning chain should be increments of 12 + 2. (38, 50, 62, 74, 86, 98, etc)

Special Stitches: This pattern uses FPtr & BPtr. They are made very similar to the FPdc & BPdc.

  • FPdc – Front Post double crochet
  • BPdc – Back Post double crochet
