Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton: Red – 1 oz, 50 yd (30 g, 46 m) Green – ½ oz, 25 yd (15 g, 23 m) Black – ½ oz, 25 yd (15 g, 23 m) Small amount White. (Peaches & Crème – Rouge Red, Soothing Aloe)

Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)

JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

DISHCLOTH

Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with Black, ch 4, join with sl st to first ch to form ring; ch 2, 12 dc in ring; skip ch-2 and join with sl st to first dc. (12 dc)

Rnd 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in same st as joining, [2 dc in next dc] around; join as before. (24 dc) Finish off and weave in ends.

Rnd 3: With right side facing, join White with sl st to any dc, [ch 3, sl st in next 2 dc] around (last sl st is in same sp as joining sl st). (12 ch-3 sps and 24 sl sts) Finish off and weave in ends.

Rnd 4: With right side facing, join Red with sl st in 2nd ch of any ch-3 sp; ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), 2 dc in same ch, ch 2, [3 dc in 2nd ch of next ch-3 sp, ch 2] around; join with sl st to first dc. (36 dc and 12 ch-2 sps)

Rnd 5: Ch 3, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, ch 2, [dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, ch 2] around; join as before. (48 dc and 12 ch-2 sps)

Rnd 6: Ch 1, sc in first dc, ch 1, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, ch 1, sc in next dc, ch 2, [sc in next dc, ch 1, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, ch 1, sc in next dc, ch 2] around; join as before. (24 sc, 36 dc and 12 ch-2 sps) Finish off and weave in ends.

Rnd 7: With right side facing, join Green with sc in 2nd (center) dc of any petal, ch 3, sc in same dc, 5 dc in next ch-2 sp, [(sc, ch 3, sc) in center dc of next petal, 5 dc in next ch-2 sp] around; join with sl st to first sc. (60 dc, 24 sc and 12 ch-3 sps) Finish off and weave in ends.
