Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn

  • Lt. Blue – 7 ½ (8 ½, 9 ½) oz, 372 (422, 472) yds, [200 (228, 256) grams, 300 (380, 460) meters)]
  • Yarn Needle
  • Crochet Hook: Size I-9 (5.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 2 shells & Rnds 1-5 = 4"

Gauge Swatch: 4" x 4"

Row 1: Ch 15, dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across. (13 dc)

Rows 2-7: Ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc across. (13 dc) Finish off at the end of Row 7.

Note: If your swatch is larger or smaller than specified, make another, changing hook size to get the correct gauge. If your swatch is too small, use a larger hook. If your swatch is too large, use a smaller hook. Keep trying until you find the size hook that will give you the specified gauge.
