NOTES: Bolded print: Repeat in pattern. “STS”=Stitches: Any st or chsps. FRONT POST STS (FP): Since a front post st is done around the post of a st, you are left with the top 2 loops of that st you worked around, these are the unused loops you will be working into on rnds 5 & 7. FP: Front Post

Rnd 1: W/color A: Ch4, work 11 dc in 4th ch from hook, join in top of beg ch4. (12dc)


Rnd 2: Ch3, fpdc in same st. [Dc in next st, fpdc in same st] Repeat around, join to top of ch3. (24dc)


Rnd 3: Ch3, fpdc in same st. [Bpdc in next st, (dc, fpdc) in next st] Repeat around ending with a bpdc, join. (36dc)


Rnd 4: Ch1, 3sc in same st. [Fpsc in next 5sts, 3sc in next st] Repeat around ending with fpsc in last 5sts, join, fasten off color A. (48sc)

Rnd 5: W/color B, join in any 2nd dc of a tip, ch3, 2dc in same st. [Dc in next sc, Working in the unused loops behind the fpsc of rnd 4, dc in those 5sts, dc in next sc3dc in next sc] Repeat around ending with a dc in last sc, join. (60dc)


Rnd 6: [3sc in next st, fpsc in next 9sts.] Repeat around, join. (72sc)


Rnd 7: Ch3, [3dc in next st, dc in next sc, working in the unused loops behind the fpsc of rnd 6, dc in those 9sts, dc in next sc.] Repeat around, join. (72dc) Fasten off and weave in ends.
