Crochet Oven Cloth with Flower

You'll need:

About 30g of «NAKO» Sirius and Bambino yarn of 5 colors: red (6g) for the flower, light green (9g), a littile of green, yellow and orange;

Crochet hook 3 mm.

Instructions

Oven cloth is made with separate details. Start working with making flower and wrong side.

Flower

Use red yarn. Replace 1st crochet with chain st, connect the rows with slip st.

1st row: in ring *1 single crochet, 3 chain sts* 8 times. Tighten the ring with free tail;

2nd row: first layer of petals. Totaly, 8 layers. In each arch - * single crochet, half double crochet, 3 double crochets, half double crochet, single crochet*;

3rd row: 8 archesof 4 chain sts under 8 ready-made petals, attaching single crochet, winding the crochet of the 1st row.

4th row: second layer of petals. * single crochet, half double crochet, 5 double crochets, half double crochet, single crochet* under each of 8 arches;

5th row: in analogy to the 3rd row, the difference is 6 chain sts, which fasten to the crochet of the 3rd row;

6th row: third layer of petals. * single crochet, half double crochet, 7 double crochets, half double crochet, single crochet*;

7th row: 8 arches of 7 chain sts above the petals;

8th row: the last layer. * single crochet, half double crochet, 9 double crochets, half double crochet, single crochet*.

Your flower is ready.

Square Motif

Make the back part of your oven cloth with light-green yarn.

Start with the ring, make * 4 double crochets, 3 chain sts* 4 times in the ring. Tighten. You'll get ordinary square.

Make next rows under double crochets, in angles (under chain st) - 2 double crochets, 3 chain sts, 2 double crochets.

Leaves

Use green yarn.

Make 4 trefoils on 4 petals out of 8.

Attach the red yarn to the top of petal.

Make 8 chain sts. Single crochet, half double crochet, 3 double crochets, half double crochet, single crochet - down the chain. Slip st in the top of petlal. Don't cut the yarn.

Make 9 chain sts and fasten the chain with single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, 2 treble crochets, double crochet, half double crochet, single crochet. Attach in analogy to the first leaf.

Make 8 chain sts for the third leaf - single crochet, half double crochet, 3 double crochets, half double crochet, single crochet. Making slip st cut the yarn and fasten it.

Make 3 suck leaves.

Fastening

Use yellow yarn.

In the 1st row of fastening make chains of different length (see the scheme), attaching single crochets to the tops of leaves.

In the next row fasten with the arches of 3 and 5 chain sts.

Now, you need to make the last row with double crochets.

Attach two square motifs with crochet hook and orange yarn with single crochets.

Fasten with bunches of double crochets with common top, make groups of treble crochets in the angles.

Make a loop in the edge of oven cloth. Make 15 chain sts. Circle them in a ring and fasten with 25 single crochets.
