Relief Orange Knit Socks
You'll need:
50g of yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl; 95m/25g);
Knitting needles 3.
Size: 18-24 months
Used Patterns
1 x 1 rib;
Stockinette stitch: in circle rows - all knit sts;
"Picot": knit2tog, 1 yarn over by turn;
Relief rhombs pattern: due to the scheme. Make even rows with knit sts. Pattern = 16 rows in height.
Stitches control: of stockinette stitch: 30sts x 40rows = 10cm x 10cm.
Instructions
Start making relief socks with the edge. Cast on 42 sts, allocate them on knitting needles in the following way: 10, 11, 10, 11 sts.
1st and 2nd rows: stockinette stitch;
3rd row: "picot";
4th and 5th rows: stockinette stitch;
From 6th row: 1 x 1 rib.
Knit 3 cm in the last row on 11 sts and decrease 1 st. Totaly, you should have 40 sts.
Then, turn to the relief rhombs pattern. Knit 8 cm of the pattern, then turn to stockinette stitch. Continue, using classic scheme of socks knitting. After knitting 6 cm for the heel, start making the descent for toe part.
