You'll need:

Yarn with at least 55% cotton content (90m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 3,5 and 4;

Circle knitting needles 3,5.


Size: S/M, L.


Used Patterns

Garter stitch: all knit sts;

Rhombs: the quantity of sts is multiple 19 + 1 + 2 selvedge sts. This pattern is made due to the scheme 1, make wrong-side rows due to the ornament, yarn overs - as purls. Start with 1 selvedge st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, sts after pattern repeat, 1 selvedge st. Repeat from 1st to 34th rows;

Basket: the quantity of sts is multipled 8 + 4 + 2 selvedge sts. This pattern is made due to the scheme 2, make wrong-side rows due to the ornament, yarn overs - as purls. Start with 1 selvedge st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, sts after pattern repeat, 1 selvedge st. Repeat from 1st to 8th rows;


Stitches Control

Rhombs: 19 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Garter stitch: 19 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Basket: 24,5 sts x 26,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 79, 98 sts with knitting needles 3 and make 3 rows (1 cm) of placket with garter stitch, starting from the wrong-side row. Then, turn to knitting needles 4 and make rhombs. In 40 rows (14 cm), 48 rows (16,5 cm) from placket, increase 1 st from both sides. Repeat this increase 3 times in 8 rows, in 16 rows and in 24 rows. You should get 87, 106 sts with increased sts, which are included in the pattern.

In 96 rows (33 cm), 104 rows (35,5 cm) from the placket bind off 3 sts from both sides for tha arm-holes and 2 sts x 3, 1 st x 5 in every even row. You should get 59, 78 sts. After 136 rows (47 sts), 154 rows (53 cm) from the placket, make garter stitch pattern. In 12 rows (4 cm) bind off the central 37, 40 sts and finish each part separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 4 sts in the 2nd row along the inner edge. In 3 rows (1 cm) bind off the rest 7 (15) sts for each shoulder.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, bind off the central 29 (32) sts in 8 rows (2,5 cm) from the garter stitch part and 4 sts x 1, 2 sts x 2.

Sleeves

Cast on 50; 58 sts with knitting needles 3 and make 3 rows (1 cm) of placket with garter stitch. In the last row increase 12 sts. Totaly, 62 (70) sts. Turn to knitting needles 4. Then, make basket pattern. At the same time, increase 1 st x 2 in every 6th row, 1 st x 6 in every 4th row, 1 st x 9 in every 4th row and 1 st x 4 in every 4th row for widening from both sides. Totaly, 78; 96 sts. Include all the sts in the pattern.

In 40 rows (15 cm), 46 rows (17,5 cm) from the placket, bind off 3 sts from both sides for making sleeve cap, 2 sts x 3 and 1 st x 2 in every even row, 1 st x 4 in every 4th row, 1 st x 3 in every 2nd row, 2 sts x 2, 3 sts x 1, 4 sts. In 80 rows (30 cm), 86 rows (32,5 cm) from the placket, bind off the rest 28, 40 sts.

Assembly

Sew shoulders. Lift 108, 112 sts along the neck-hole with circle knitting needles and make 1 rows of purls. After that, bind them off as knit sts. Sew the sleeves. Make sleeve and side seams.
