Violet Crochet Tunic
You’ll need:
400 (500)g of violet yarn (100% cotton; 142m/50g);
100 (150)g of the same yarn, but in lilac color;
Crochet hook 2,5.
Size: S (M).
Used Patterns
Motif: make 8 chain sts with lilac yarn and circle them in the ring with 1 slip st. After that, work due to the scheme 1. Start every circle row with stated chain sts increase instead of the 1st st and finish with 1 slip st in chain st increase. Make the 1st circle row with lilac yarn, make the rest rows with violet yarn.
Gusset: due to the scheme 2. Start at arrow, make the 1st row upon both shoulders, then, work with straight and reversed rows in a shape of gusset.
Fringe: 1st row: single crochets;
2nd row: * 1 single crochet, 3 chain sts, 4 double crochets in 1 base st, skip 4 sts*; repeat from * to *.
Stitches control: 1 motif = 9 x 9 cm.
Instructions
Back
Make 40 (48) motifs and connect them from the 2nd motif with the help of slip st with arches in the corners of back.
Front
Make 32 (48) motifs and connect them, matching with pattern design for front, as described = shoulder chamfer. Make shoulder seams due to the scheme 2 with the help of arches.
Sleeves
Make 12 (15) motifs and connect them matching with pattern design with front and back.
Assembly
Make side and sleeve seams, as described with the help of slip st. Fasten the edges with 3 rows of single crochets with violet yarn. Make a cord of double violet yarn 120 cm long and draw it through arches of neck-hole. Make 2 tassels of violet yarn and sew them to the ends of cord. Fasten the lower edge and edges of sleeves with circle rows of fringe with violet yarn.
