1 (1, 1, 1, 1) (1, 1, 1, 1) ball of the same yarn, but in Urchin color (Color B);
Crochet hook 5 mm;

Working on the wrong side, divide your chain stitches into 2 even groups. Re - attach yarn to the center bar in between the 6th/7th (7th/8th, 7th/8th, 8th/9th, 16th/17th) stitch. Ch 2 and turn according to pattern.
Row 1: Dc in blo of first st and in each st around. Ch 2, turn. 36 (42, 42, 48, 68)
Rows 2-10: Rep Row 1. At the end of Row 10, join Color B with a sl st. Ch 1, turn.
Color B
Row 11: Sc in first st and in each st around. Ch 1, turn.
Row 12 - 15: Rep Row 11.
