Popcorn- work 4dc into next st, drop loop from hook, insert hook from the front into top of first of these dc, pick up dropped loop and draw through dc, 1ch to secure popcorn.

The quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 2.

1st row (RS): work 1sc into 2nd ch from hook, *1ch, skip 3ch, 1dc into next ch, 1ch, into same ch as last dc work [1dc, 1ch, 1dc], 1ch, skip 3ch, 1sc into next ch; rep from * to end, turn;

2nd row: 6ch (count as 1dc, 3ch), skip 1dc, 1sc into next dc, *3ch, 1 popcorn into next sc, 3ch, skip 1dc, 1sc into next dc; rep from * to last sc, 3ch, 1dc into last sc ,turn;

3rd row: 1ch, 1sc into first dc, *1ch, 1dc into next sc, 1ch, into same st as last dc work [1dc, 1ch, 1dc], 1ch, 1sc into top of next popcorn; rep from * to end, placing last sc into 3rd of 6ch at beg of previous row, turn.

Repeat 2nd-3rd rows.
