​Crochet Net Jacket

You’ll need:

800 (850)g of cream Lana Grossa Elastico Big yarn (96% cotton, 4% polyester; 105m/50g);

50g of beige Lana Grossa Cool Wool Seta yarn (30% silk, 70% merino wool; 140m/50g);

Circular knitting needles 4,5;

Crochet hook 5;

Transparent zipper of 50 cm long.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Bind off sts as criss-cross method in 2 threads of yarn: 1^st row (RS): 1 purl, slip 1 st in front of work;

2^nd row (WS): slip knit st of the previous row behind work, 1 knit st;

3^rd row: bind off with 1 thread.

1 x 1 rib.

Pattern for crochet hook: the quantity of sts is multiple 5 + 1. Work due to the scheme. Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows.

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Stitches control: 20 sts x 13 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Work as one-piece cloth to the beginning of sleeves: cast on 181 (201) sts with circular knitting needles 4,5 and work in 2 threads of cream yarn and work with rib for placket, start with 1 selvage st, 1 knit st in RS row. Make 4 cream rows, 2 beige rows, 4 cream rows, 2 beige rows, 8 cream rows and bind off sts as they face. Work with pattern for crochet hook on placket with cream yarn = 36 (40) pattern repeats. In 19 rows divide your work in the following way: 9 (10) pattern repeats for the right front, 18 (20) pattern repeats for back, 9 (10) pattern repeats for left front.

Back

Make 40 (45) chain sts from both sides for sleeves and include in pattern repeats = 34 (38) pattern repeats. In 24 rows for sleeve chamfers, bind off 32 (37) x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from both sides and 1 x 1 st = 41 sts = 8 pattern repeats. For hood, make 10 more rows. Finish your work.

Left Front

Make 40 (45) chain sts in the place of division and include them in the pattern = 17 (19) pattern repeats. In 24 (28) rows, make sleeve chamfers at right edge in the same way, as back = 4 pattern repeats, then, finish your work.

Assembly

Connect sleeve chamfers with slip st from WS side. For hood, connect straight part of back (the last 10 rows) with the last 4 pattern repeats (21 sts) of front. Fasten the edges of sleeves with 1 row of slip sts with cream yarn = 60 slip sts. Cast on 60 sts with cream yarn and work with rib due to the stripes order: 30 cream rows, 2 beige rows, 4 cream rows, 2 beige rows, 4 cream rows. Bind off sts in criss-cross way. Make sleeve and placket seams. Fasten the edges of fastener, including hood, with 1 row of slip sts. Cast on sts along slip sts row and make 4 rows of stockinette stitch and bind off sts. Sew zipper.
