White Crochet Dress
You’ll need:
450 (500) 550 (600)g of white Bergere de France Coton a Tricoter yarn (100% mercerized cotton; 200m/50g);
Crochet hook 3,5 and 4;
1 zipper 18 cm long.
Size: S/M/L/XL.
Used Patterns
Work in 2 threads of yarn. 1 shell: 4 double crochets, 2 crossed double crochets: skip the first 3 double crochets on the 1st shell, 1 double crochet in the next double crochet, 2 chain sts = 1 arch, then, make 1 double crochet behind the 1st double crochet in the 1st of skipped double crochets. 1 motif in 2 rows: 1 shell in odd row and 2 cross double crochets in even row.
Fancy pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 1 +3 chain sts increase.
1st row (RS): 1 shell in the 6th chain st, * skip 3 chain sts, 1 shell in the next chain st*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the last chain st;
2nd row: 2 chain sts, then, 2 cross double crochets in every shell, 1 half crochet in the 3rd chain st of the previous row beginning;
3rd row: 3 chain sts, then, 1 shell in every arch of the following 2 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the 2nd chain st of the previous row. Make 1st-3rd rows x once, then, repeat 2nd-3rd rows.
Pattern of half-crochets: 1st row (RS): 1 half crochet in the 3rd chain st = first 2 half crochets, then, 1 half crochet in every following chain st;
2nd and all the following rows: 2 chain sts increase = 1st half-crochet, 1 half crochet in the 2nd half-crochet and every following half-crochet.
Stitches control: fancy pattern: 24 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Half-crochets pattern: 18 sts x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

In 24 cm = 24 rows from the set-up row, decrease 3 x 1 motif during 6 rows, see the scheme = 22 (24) 26 (29) shells = 90 (98) 106 (118) sts. In 51 cm = 51 rows from the set-up row, change to crochet hook 3,5 and make 2 chain sts, 1 half crochet in every of the first 3 double crochets of the next shell, * skip 1 double crochet, 1 half crochet in every of the next 3 double crochets*; repeat from * to *, 1 half crochet in the 2nd chain st of the beginning of row = 68 (74) 80 (89) half crochets. Make in the same way, as back.
Straps
Make 55 chain sts with crochet hook 3,5 and make 3 rows of half crochets pattern, finish your work.
Assembly
Make right seam of dress. Then, make seam along the second side, leave 18 cm cut for zipper, sew straps to back and front and 15 (16) 17 (18) cm distance from each other.
