You’ll need:

400; 450; 550; 600g of 100% cotton yarn (180m/50g);

Knitting needles 2,5;

Circle knitting needles 2,5;

Crochet hook 2,5;

Markers.

Size: S; M; L; XL.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: due to the schemes A and B.

Knit around due to the scheme A. All the rows are stated on the scheme, read it from right to left.

Pay attention, that you should make the last of the 3^rd row in every odd pattern repeat (shown as blank square on the scheme) and the 1^st st of the next pattern repeat as knit2tog. Then, work due to the scheme.

Knit with straight/reversed rows due to the scheme B. All the rows are stated on the scheme. Read RS rows from right to left, WS rows – vice versa.

Make the last of the 3^rd row in every odd pattern repeat (shown as blank square on the scheme) and the 1^st st of the next pattern repeat as knit2tog. Then, work due to the scheme. Repeat the vertical pattern repeat = 22 rows the needed times.

Stitches control: main pattern: 30 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Start work from the bottom side and knit around. Cast on 272; 306; 340; 374 sts on circle knitting needles. Close the row, place markers on the 1^st and 137^th; 154^th; 171^st, 188^th sts. Side seams lines will go under these sts. Make 1 row of knit sts and turn to the scheme A. Make the pattern, repeat the pattern x 16; 18; 20; 22 times.

After knitting 33; 38,5; 38,5; 38,5 cm from the set up row (= 132; 154; 154; 154 rows), start making decreases. Knit due to the scheme A to the 4^th st before the marked st, knit2tog, slip 1 knit st, 1 knit st, draw the slipped st through knit st. Make decreases in reflection way after the second side seam. Repeat decreases 12 times with interval in 5 row, i.e., in every 6^th row. There are 220; 254; 280; 322 sts in work

At 55; 61; 61; 67 cm (220; 242; 242; 268 rows) from the beginning of work, make the first 110; 127; 144; 161 sts due to the scheme B with straight/reversed row, saving the previous sts allocation. Leave the rest 110; 127; 144; 161 sts for some time.

Front

Bind off 5 sts x 1 from both sides for arm-hole, then 3 sts x 1; 1; 2; 2 in every even row, 2 sts x 0; 2; 3; 5, 1 st x 0; 3; 5; 8. Then, bind off 1 st x 4; 3; 2; 1 in every 6^th row from both sides. After all the decreases, you should get 86; 91; 96; 101 sts.

At 64; 71; 72; 79 cm height, bind off the central 24; 23; 24; 23 sts for neck-hole line and finish each part from separate skein.

At 73; 80; 81; 88 cm, bind off 8 sts x 3 along the outer edge for shoulder chamfer; 9 sts x 3, 9 sts x 1, 10 sts x 2, 10 sts x 1, 11 sts x 2. Make the second chamfer with decreases in reflection way.

Back

Take in work the previously left 110; 127; 144; 161 sts. Bind off 5 sts x 1 from both sides for arm-holes, 3 sts x 1; 1; 2; 2 in a row, 2 sts x 0; 2; 3; 5 and 2 sts x 0; 2; 3; 5 and 2 sts x 0; 3; 5; 8. Then, bind off 1 st x 4; 3; 2; 1 in every 6^th row. There are 86; 91; 96; 101 sts in work.

At 18; 19; 20; 21 cm from arm-hole bottom, bind off the central 38; 37; 38; 37 sts. Then, finish each part separately.

At 73; 80; 81; 88 cm, bind off 8 sts x 3 in every even row along the outer edge for shoulder line, 8 sts x 3, 9 sts x 3, 9 sts x 1, 10 sts x 2, 10 sts x 1, 11 sts x 2. Make the second chamfer with decreases in reflection way.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams, fasten the edges of neck-hole and arm-holes by means of the crochet hook in the following way: start near the shoulder seam, fasten the yarn, 2 chain sts, * 1 single crochet and 3 treble crochets from 1 base st, skip 3 sts*; repeat from * to * finish with slip st in the upper chain st.

Make fringe.
