You’ll need:

16 (17) 19 (20) skeins of Katia Seta Mohair yarn (54% alpaca wool, 46% polyamide; 115m/25g) in red color (#314);

Knitting needles 2,5 and 3,5.

 

Size: S (M) L (XL-2XL).

 

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

1 x 1 rib.

Fringe structured pattern: 1st row: knit;

2nd row: purl;

3rd row: 1 purl, * 1 purl, slip 1 purl*; repeat from * to *, 1 purl;

4th row: 1 purl, * 1 knit st, 1 purl*; repeat from * to *, 1 purl.

Repeat 1st-4th rows.


Stitches control: stockinette stitch: 25 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Structured pattern: 25 sts x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

 

Instructions

Back

Cast on 130 (142) 152 (166) sts with knitting needles 3,5 and make 3 cm of rib for lower placket. Then, work with stockinette stitch. In 38 cm from the set-up row, continue work with structured pattern. In 41 cm from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 7 sts from both sides in the beginning of row for arm-holes, then, decrease 36 (38) 40 (42) x 1 st in every RS row. In 19 (20) 21 (22) cm from the beginning of arm-holes, leave the rest 44 (52) 58 (68) sts of neck-hole.

 

Front

Make in the same way, as back.

 

Sleeves

Cast on 60 (62) 65 (67) sts with knitting needles 2,5 and make 3 cm of rib for placket. Continue work with stockinette stitch on knitting needles 3,5, increase 60 (62) 65 (67) sts in the 1st row = 120 (124) 130 (134) sts. In 18 cm from the set-up row, bind off 9 x 1 st from both sides in every 6th row = 102 (106) 112 (116) sts. In 40 cm from the set-up row, continue work with structured pattern. In 43 cm from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 7 sts from both sides in the beginning of row, then, decrease 36 (38) 40 (42) x 1 st. In 19 (20) 21 (22) cm from raglan chamfers, leave the rest 16 (16) 18 (18) sts.

 

Assembly

Make 3 raglan seams. Transfer the previously left 44 (52) 58 (68) sts of back, 16 (16) 18 (18) sts of one sleeve, 44 (52) 58 (68) sts of front and 16 (16) 18 (18) sts of second sleeve to knitting needles 3,5 = 120 (136) 152 (172) sts. Work with structured pattern for trim and bind off sts loosely. Make raglan seam in the 4th seam, including trim. Make side and sleeve seams.
