Knit Red Jacket
You’ll need:
600g of red yarn (45% wool, 45% acryl, 10% lurex; 300m/100g);
Knitting needles 3;
Crochet hook 3.

3 x 1 rib: * 3 knit sts, 1 purl*.
Instructions
Back
Cast on 85 sts and work with 3 x 1 rib. For side chamfers, increase 5 x 1 st in every 12th row from both sides. In 25 cm from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 3 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st from both sides for arm-holes. In 17 cm from the beginning of arm-holes, bind off the central 35 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. Bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts in every 2nd row. Bind off the rest sts.
Right Front
Cast on 77 sts and work with 3 x 1 rib. Make side chamfer and arm-holes in the same way, as for back. In 1 cm from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 3 sts from right side for neck-hole, 3 x 3 sts, 6 x 2 sts, 17 x 1 st in every 2nd row, 16 x 1 st in every 4th row. Bind off all the sts at the height of back.
Left Front
Make in symmetry to the right front.
Sleeves
Cast on 49 sts and work with 3 x 1 rib. For sleeve chamfers, increase 1 st in every 6th row from both sides. In 46 cm from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 3 sts from both sides for sleeve caps and 3 x 2 sts, 14 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 3 sts in every 2nd row. Bind off the rest sts.
Placket-Belt
Cast on 18 sts and work with 2 x 2 rib for 2 m long.
Assembly
Make shoulder and side seams. Sew up the sleeves and make sleeve seams. Fasten neck-hole with crochet hook:
1st row: single crochets;
2nd row: “shrimp stitch”.
Sew placket along the lower edge of jacket.
