600g of bright mélange Zauberball Starke 6 yarn (75% wool, 25% polyamide; 400m/150g);
Crochet hook 4;
1 button.

Used Patterns
Main pattern: straight and reversed rows: double crochets. Start every row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st double crochet and finish with 1 double crochet in the last chain st increase of the previous row; circle rows: double crochets, start every row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st double crochet and finish with 1 slip st in the last chain st increase.
Stitches control: 16,5 sts x 10,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back with ½ Sleeve
For left sleeve, make 40 (43) 46 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern. At the same time, increase 4 x 1 st in every 2nd row from the right side for chamfer = 44 (47) 50 sts. In 12,5 cm = 13 rows from the set-up row, make 65 (62) 59 chain sts and work on all 109 sts and work with the main pattern. In 28,5 cm = 30 rows (30,5 cm = 32 rows) 32,5 cm = 34 rows from the set-up row, skip 6 sts from the left side for neck-hole. For smooth rounding bind off 2 x 2 sts in the next row = 99 sts. In 24 (26) 28 cm from new sts the middle of back is reached. Make the 2nd half in symmetry. Finish your work on the rest 40 (43) 46 sts in 73 (77) 81 cm from the set-up row.
Left Front with ½ Sleeve
For left sleeve, make 40 (43) 46 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern. At the same time, increase 4 x 1 st in every 2nd row from the left side = 44 (47) 50 sts. In 12,5 cm = 13 rows from the set-up row, make 2 double crochets, 1 chain st, 2 double crochets in 1 base st in the corners from left side of work. Then, work with the main pattern, make 1 corner in every row. In 28,5 cm = 30 rows (30,5 cm = 32 rows) 32,5 cm = 34 rows from the set-up row, slip 1st-24th sts from the right side and work in the same way, as previously on the rest sts. For neck-hole chamfer, decrease 4 x 2 sts in the next row, for this, make the first 3 double crochets together in WS row. In 4 rows of decreases, finish your work. Then, fasten the lower edge of front – 42 (46) 50 sts with the main pattern, work with shorten rows. For this, start with 4 single crochets and 4 half crochets to the end of row from the right side; in the 2nd row (WS): 27 (31) 35 double crochets, then, 4 half crochets, 4 single crochets and skip the rest 7 sts;
3rd row: start in the same way, as the 1st row;
4th row: as the 2nd row, but only with 20 (24) 28 double crochets;
5th row: as the 1st row.
Then, make 6 rows of the main pattern on all sts.
Right Front
Make in symmetry.
Assembly
Make shoulder, side and sleeve seams. For placket, fasten vest with circle rows of main pattern, make 3 double crochets in 1 base st. In 7 circle rows, mark center of back for collar and make 124 sts (62 sts from each side of mark) and work with shorten rows. For this, start with 4 single crochets and 4 half crochets and finish with 4 half crochets, 4 single crochets from the right side of the 1st row. Bind off 6 sts from both sides of the previous row and start row, as stated in the next 2 rows. Then, make 1 more circle row around the whole vest. Sew button.
