The quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 2.

1^st row (RS): sc in 2nd ch from hook, *ch 2, dc2tog in same ch and ch 4 ch away (skip 3 ch), ch 2, sc in same ch as dc2tog; rep from * across, turn;

2^nd row: ch 4 (counts as tr), dc in next dc2tog, ch 2, sc around prev dc2tog, *ch 2, sc around same dc2tog; rep from * across to last dc2tog, ch 2, dctrtog in prev dc2tog and sc, turn;

3^rd row: ch 1, sc in dctrtog, *ch 2, dc2tog in prev st and next dc2tog, ch 2, sc around dc2tog; rep from * across, ending sc in dctrtog, turn;

4^th row: ch 1, sc in dctrtog, *ch 3, sc in next dc2tog; rep from * across to end, sc in dctrtog. Fasten off.
