Cross Jacket with Hood
You’ll need:
650 (700) 750g of dark-pink yarn (90% alpaca yarn, 5% wool, 5% polyamide; 140m/50g);
Crochet hook 6,5;
Circular knitting needles 7;
3 buttons.

Used Patterns
Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 1. Work due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-6th rows x once, then, repeat 3rd-6th rows, finish with 7th-10th rows.
1 x 1 rib (knitting needles).
Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.
Stitches control: main pattern: 12 sts x 8,75 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Stockinette stitch: 18,5 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
Make 64 (70) 76 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern. In 71 cm = 62 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.
Left Front
Make 22 (25) 28 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern and finish your work at the height of back.
Right Front
Make in the same way, as left front.
Sleeves
Make 46 (52) 52 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase for each sleeve and work with the main pattern. In 39 cm = 34 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.
Assembly
For cuffs, cast on 50 sts with circular knitting needles and work with rib. At 8 cm width of cuff bind off sts as purls. For hood, cast on about 104 sts along the neck-hole (20 sts along upper edge of front, 64 sts along upper edge of back) and work with stockinette sticth. Mark the central 2 sts. For better shaping, in 22 cm = 52 rows from set-up row, make 2 sts before the central sts as broaching, make 2 sts after central st as knit2tog. Repeat these decreases x 4 times in every 2nd row. Bind off the rest 94 sts in 26 cm = 62 rows from set-up row. Fold hood in half and make central seam. Sewupsleeves. Makesideandsleeveseams. Cast on 176 (194) 212 sts with circular knitting needles and work with rib. At 4 cm width of placket, bind off sts with double thread of yarn, as purls. Sew buttons.
