​Multicolored Striped Bolero

You’ll need:

250 (300) 300 of grey Secondo yarn (55% cotton, 25% polyamide, 20% silk; 125m/50g);

100 (150) 150g of the same yarn, but in olive color;

100 (150) 150g of the same yarn, but in lemon color;

50 (100) 100g of the same yarn, but in marine color;

Crochet hook 3,5;

Scissors;

Stitch markers.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Lace pattern: work due to the scheme. Turn rows, as stated. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-5^th rows x once, then, repeat 2^nd-5^th rows.

Colors order: 5 grey rows, * 4 marine rows, 4 olive rows, 4 lemon rows, 4 grey rows*; repeat from * to *.

Garter stitch: knit sts.

Stitches control: lace pattern 22 sts x 14,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Garter stitch: 14 sts = 5 cm.

Instructions

Left Front

Make 51 (56) 61 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with lace pattern due to the colors order, for size M, finish with pattern repeat. For side chamfer, increase 22 cm from the right side on the following 10 cm. At the same time, decrease 7 cm from the left side on the following 35 (37) 39 cm for neck-hole chamfer. In 35 (37) 39 cm from the set-up row, shoulder line is reached.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to left front.

Back

For this, make a chain of 22 cm and include it in the pattern on the next 2 cm from shoulder line for neck-hole chamfer. In 25 (27) 29 cm from shoulder line, make chamfers in symmetry. Finish your work in 35 (37) 39 cm from shoulder line.

Assembly

Fasten the edges of sleeves with 1 row of single crochets with grey yarn. Make sts along front detail and make 5 cm of garter stitch for placket, then, bind off sts. Fasten the lower edges with 1 row of single crochets with grey yarn, the width of back should be 44 (48) 52 cm, the width of front – 18 (20) 22 cm. For belt, cast on 14 sts and make 140 (148) 156 cm of garter stitch and bind off all sts.

Sew belt from the middle to the lower edge.
