200 (250) 300g of violet Mayra yarn (90% cotton, 10% polyamide; 125m/50g);

200 (250) 300g of the same yarn, but in sandy color;

100g of the same yarn, but in light-grey color;

100g of the same yarn, but in dark grey color;

Straight and circular knitting needles 5.

Used Patterns

Wavy pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 14 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the pattern, yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1^st-12^th rows.

Colors order: * 2 violet rows, 2 light-grey rows, 10 sandy rows, 2 dark-grey rows*; repeat from * to *.

Stitches control: 23,5 sts x 26,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 101 (115) 129 sts and make 1 WS row of knit sts (don’t take this row into account). Then, work with wavy pattern due to the colors order. At the same time from the set-up row decrease 6 x 1 st in every 6^th row from both sides for better fitting = 89 (103) 117 sts. In 18 cm = 48 rows from the set-up row, increase 6 x 1 st in every 6^th and 8^th rows by turn from both sides = 101 (115) 129 sts, include the increased sts in the pattern. In 36 cm = 96 rows from the set-up row, bind off 4 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 5 x 1 st in every 2^nd row = 73 (87) 101 sts. In 52 cm = 138 rows (55 cm = 146 rows) 58 cm =154 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 27 (35) 41 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from inwards. In 54 cm = 14 4 rows (57 cm = 152 rows) 60 cm = 160 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 18 (21) 25 sts of shoulder from each side.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but for deeper neck-hole bind off the central 9 (17) 23 sts in 40 cm = 106 rows (43 cm = 114 rows) 46 cm =122 rows form the set-up row and 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 9 x 1 st in every 2^nd row.

Sleeves

Cast on 59 (59) 73 sts with dark-grey yarn and make 1 WS row of knit sts. Then, work with wavy pattern due to the colors order. At the same time from the set-up row increase 8 x 1 st in every 10^th and 12^th rows by turn (15 x 1 st in every 6^th row) 15 x 1 st in every 6^th row for sleeve chamfers = 75 (89) 103, include the increased sts in pattern repeat. In 36 cm = 96 rows from the set-up row, bind off 4 (5) 6 sts from both sides for sleeve caps and 1 x 2 sts, 6 x 1 st, 10 x 2 sts (1 x 3 sts, 3 x 1 st, 13 x 2 sts) 1 x 3 sts and 16 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row. In 50 cm = 132 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 11 (15) 21 sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. For placket, cast on 102 (118) 130 sts along neck-hole with circular knitting needles and dark-grey yarn, make 1 circle row of knit sts and 1 circle row of purls and bind off all the sts as knit sts. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
