You’ll need:

1 skein of brown yarn (50% cotton, 50% acryl; 150m/50g);

Odds of turquoise and green yarn (100% polyester; 95m/50g);

Crochet hook 2,5;

Ceramic flower-pot (5 cm diameter);

Stuffing;

Green wire;

Plastic foam “ball” (40 mm diameter);

Glue gun.

Instructions

Make 2 chain sts.

1^st row: 6 single crochets in the 2^nd st from the crochet hook;

2^nd row: 2 single crochets in every st;

3^rd row: * 1 single crochet, 2 single crochets in the next st* (18 sts);

4^th row: * 2 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next st* (24 sts);

5^th row: * 3 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next st* (30 sts);

6^th row: * 4 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next st* (36 sts);

7^th-8^th rows: single crochets;

9^th row: * 4 single crochets, 2 single crochets tog* (30 sts);

10^th row: single crochets;

11^th row: * 3 single crochets, 2 single crochets tog* (24 sts);

12^th-14^th rows: single crochets;

15^th row: * 2 single crochets, 2 single crochets tog* (18 sts);

16^th-18^th rows: single crochets;

19^th row: * 1 single crochet, 2 single crochets tog* (12 sts);

Fill in with stuffing.

20^th row: 2 single crochets tog.

Cut the yarn, weave in ends.

Make 15 small flowers for each flower head.

Start with 3 chain sts, (1 half crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 half crochet, 1 single crochet) x 3 times in the 3^rd chain st from the crochet hook, finish with slip st in the 2^nd chain st. Cut the yarn, weave in ends.

Cut the yarn, weave in ends.

Assembly

Cut the plastic foam “ball” inhalf. Glue flowers to each half-circle. Take a piece of wire about 11 cm long and insert it in the base of half-circle in the middle. Pin the flower head in the soil in the middle. Sew leaves together and join to soil.
