Crochet White Pullover
You’ll need:
400 (450)g of white (100% cotton; 125m/50g);
Crochet hook 4,5;
Knitting needles 3,5.
Size: S (M).
Used Patterns
Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 6 + 1. Work due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-7th rows x once, then, repeat 4th-7th rows.
2 x 2 rib.
Stitches control: 18 sts x 7,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
Make 91 (97) chain sts + 2 chain sts increase and work with relief pattern = 15 (16) pattern repeats + 1 selvage st. For one-piece sleeve, increase ½ pattern repeat from both sides in 28 cm = 21 rows and ½ pattern repeat in the next row. In 48 cm = 36 rows from the set-up row, slip the central 5 pattern repeats for neck-hole (4 pattern repeats + ½ pattern repeats from both sides) + 1 st for the symmetry and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off ½ pattern repeat in the next row from inwards. Finish your work on the rest 5 ½ (6) pattern repeats in 50,5 cm = 38 rows from the set-up row.
Front
Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 40 cm = 30 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 3 pattern repeats + ½ pattern repeat from both sides (4 pattern repeats) and bind off 2 ½ pattern repeats in every following row. Finish your work on the rest sts at the height of back.
Assembly
Cast on 186 sts for neck-hole placket, 102 sts for each sleeve placket and work with rib between selvage sts. At 6 cm width of placket bind off all sts in RS rows as purls.
For lower plackets, cast on 138 sts and work with rib. At 9 cm width of placket, bind off all sts as purls. Make right shoulder seam. Sew all plackets to the edges of pullover. Make left shoulder seam, including placket. Make side seams.
I like this top. What are you wearing under it?
You can wear a cotton top with thin straps under it
