​Light as Feather Crochet Poncho

You’ll need:

4 skeins of light-blue yarn (70% mohair, 30% silk; 210m/25g);

Crochet hook 3 and 4,5.

Length: 55 cm

Used Patterns

1 bead (= 1 treble crochet), 6 unfinished treble crochets in the same base st = 8 sts on the crochet hook, 1 yarn over and draw the yarn through all sts on the crochet hook.

Instructions

Make 120 chain sts with crochet hook 4,5 and circle them in the ring with 1 slip st in the 1^st chain st increase. Change to crochet hook 3 and continue working around.

1^st row: 3 chain sts instead of the 1^st double crochet, 1 double crochet in every st = 120 sts. Circle the row with 1 slip st in the 3^rd chain st increase;

2^nd row: 3 chain sts, 1 double crochet in every st through back loop, circle the row with 1 slip st in the 3^rd chain st increase = 120 sts;

3^rd-8^th row: as the 2^nd row;

9^th row: * 5 chain sts, skip 3 sts, 1 single crochet through both loops* = 30 arches. Finish with 1 slip st in the 1^st chain st increase;

10^th row: 3 chain sts, 6 single crochets through one arch, 7 double crochets behind every of the next arches, finish with 1 slip st in the 3^rd chain st;

11^th row: * 3 chain sts, skip 2 sts, 1 single crochet, 3 chain sts, skip 2 sts, 1 single crochet*; repeat from * to * = 2 arches in every group of double crochets. Finish with 1 slip st at the base first arch;

12^th row: 1 slip st in every of the first 2 chain sts of the first arch, * 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind the next arch*; repeat from * to *, 1 slip st at the base of the 1^st arch;

13^th row: 1 slip st in the first 2 chain sts of the first arch, * 5 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind next arch*; repeat from * to *, 1 slip st at base of the 1^st arch;

14^th row: 1 slip st in the first 3 chain sts of the first arch,* 5 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind next arch*; repeat from * to *, 1 slip st at base the 1^st arch;

15^th-16^th rows: as the 14^th row;

17^th row: 1 slip st in the first 3 chain sts of the first arch,* 7 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind next arch*; repeat from * to *, 1 slip st at base the 1^st arch;

18^th-23^rd rows: as the 17^th row;

24^th row: 1 slip st begin the first arch, 3 chain sts, 5 double crochet behind the same arch, 6 double crochets in every of the following arches, finish with 1 slip st in the 3^rd chain st increase;

25^th row: 3 chain sts, 1 double crochet in every of the following sts behind back loop, finish with 1 slip st in the 3^rd chain st increase.

Make trim though back loops in the end of this row.

26^th row: * 7 chain sts, skip 5 sts, 1 single crochet through back loop*; repeat from * to *, 1 slip st at the base of the 1^st arch;

27^th row: 1 slip st in every of the first 4 chain sts of the first arch, * 7 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind arch*; repeat from * to *, 1 slip st at the base of the 1^st arch;

28^th row: as the 27^th row;

29^th row: make circle row with beads. Make 1 slip st in every of the first 4 chain sts of the first arch, 1 bead, 7 chain sts, * 1 bead on central st of the next arch, 7 chain sts*; repeat from * to *, 1 slip st in the top of the first bead;

51^st row: 1 slip st behind the first arch, 3 chain sts, 6 double crochets behind one arch, 7 double crochets in every of the following arches. Finish with 1 slip st in the 3^rd chain st increase. Make trim through back loops in the end of this row;

52^nd row: 3 chain sts, 1 double crochet in every st through back loop. Finish with 1 slip st in the 3^rd chain st increase;

53^rd row: * 5 chain sts, skip 6 sts, 1 single crochet*; repeat from * to * to the end of row;

54^th row: 1 slip st in every of 3 chain sts increase of the first arch, * 5 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind the next arch*; repeat from * to *, 1 slip st in the center of the 1^st arch;

Trim

Crochet through back loops from RS in the 25^th and 51^st rows, fold your work along back sides. Make 3 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the same st, then, 2 double crochets in every of the following sts. Finish with 1 slip st in the 3^rd chain st increase.
