You’ll need:

600 (700) 800g of white Garzato Baby yarn (65% alpaca, 20% sheep wool, 15% polyamide; 70m/50g);

Crochet hooks 7 and 8.

Size: S (M) L-XL.

Used Patterns

Relief pattern, crochet hook 8: the quantity of sts is multiple 10 + 2. Work due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with st after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-7^th rows x once, then, repeat 2^nd-7^th rows.

Pattern for plackets, crochet hook 7: single crochets, turn every row with 1 chain st increase.

Stitches control: relief pattern: 10 sts x 6,25 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Pattern for plackets: 10,5 sts x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Make 42 (52) 62 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with relief pattern = 4 (5) 6 pattern repeats + initial and final sts. Finish in 72 cm = 45 rows, the central 16 (18) form neck-hole, outer 14 (18) 22 sts from each side – shoulders.

Left Front

Make 22 (27) 32 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with relief pattern, start with st before pattern repeat, 2 (2) 3 pattern repeats, finish with the first 0 (5) 0 sts of pattern repeat and final st. In 64 cm = 40 rows from the set-up row, bind off 6 sts from the left side for neck-hole and for smooth rounding, decrease 2 (3) 4 x 1 st in every row. For this, make 2 relief double crochets together to the last double crochets from the side of neck-hole after 3 chain sts increase. Finish your work on the rest 14 (18) 22 sts of shoulder at the height of back.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front, start with st before pattern repeat and the last 0 (5) 0 sts of pattern repeat, make 2 (2) 3 pattern repeats, finish with the last st.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Fasten neck-hole with 3 cm = 1 row of slip sts and 3 rows of pattern for placket, make 2 single crochets together x 3-4 times in the 3^rd row. After that, fasten the edges of front, including the short edges of placket with 3,5 cm = 4 rows of pattern for placket. For placket, fasten the upper 19,5 (22,5) 25,5 cm of side edges from both sides of shoulder seam for 3,5 cm = 4 rows of pattern for placket. Make side seams to 52,5 (49,5) 46,5 cm from the lower edge and seam for plackets.
