​Beige Knit Skirt

You’ll need:

400g of beige yarn (50% cotton, 50% acryl; 170m/50g);

Knitting needles 3;

Narrow rib – 1 m.

Used Patterns

Garter stitch: knit;

Patent pattern: work due to the scheme 1, only RS rows are stated on the scheme, make WS rows as they face. Repeat 1^st-2^nd rows.

Main pattern: work due to the scheme 2, on which only RS rows are stated on the scheme, make WS rows as sts face. Repeat 1^st-16^th rows.

Instructions

This skirt consists of two same details. Work from up to down. Cast on 110 sts for one detail and work with garter stitch. Repeat 8 rows in height and work with patent pattern due to the scheme 1.

At 17 cm height from the set-up row, increase 22 sts along the width of work and work with the main pattern due to the scheme 2.

At 34 cm height from the set-up row, bind off 10 x 1 st in every 8^th row from both sides for narrowing. At 59 cm height from the set-up row, bind off all sts. Make the second detail in the same way.

Assembly

Make side seams. Fold sts in half along upper side of skirt and sew from WS, leaving holes. Insert rib through the hole.
