​Knit Ivory Cardigan

You’ll need:

600g of buckle 100% acryl yarn in ivory color;

Knitting needles 4 and 4,5.

Size: M.

Stitches control: 17 sts x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 78 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and work with stockinette stitch. At 2 cm height, bind off 1 x 3 sts and 2 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from both sides = 64 sts. At 23 cm height, bind off all sts.

Sleeves

Cast on 34 sts with knitting needles 4 and work with 2 x 2 rib. At 11 cm height, continue work with stockinette stitch and knitting needles 4,5, increase 12 x 1 st in every 6^th row from both sides = 58 sts. At 44 cm height from the beginning of work, decrease 13 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides for sleeve caps and bind off the rest 32 sts. Total height is 56 cm.

Lower Detail of Back, Front and Collar

Knit across. Cast on 82 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and work with 2 x 2 rib, making shorten rows in every 6 rows: * knit 70 sts, return, make 58 sts, return, knit 70 sts and return, knit all sts*; repeat from * to *. At 130 cm height from inwards and 260 cm bind off sts as they face.

Assembly

Sew up the sleeves in the arm-holes and make sleeve seams. Make lower detail of back, front and collar and sew to the upper and lower edges of back.
